Field Trips

 

Field trips at the farm combine hands-on exploration activities with interactive discussion to create a unique experience for kids of all ages! We offer seasonal one-day field trips for school groups and families. From chicken lore to soil science, all of our programs take advantage of our edible landscape representing cultural foods from all over the world. Best organic growing practices and age-appropriate gardening activities, including a hayride, make for a fun and educational day. Weekdays 10-Noon

Cost: There is a $50 reservation fee to secure a date. Minimum number of attendees: 10 Maximum: 50, $15.00 per person minimum donation. Under 3 is free.

To schedule a field trip:

  1. Fill out the interest form below.

  2. Our Field Trips Director, Erin, can answer your questions, as well as help you get a date scheduled. She can be reached at educationabbysfarm@gmail.com or 813-335-2687.

  3. Submit your one-time reservation fee at the bottom of this page - a date will only be posted on this website upon receipt of your reservation fee

  4. Submit your per-person fee payment at the bottom of this page based on the date assigned

  5. Download the indemnity form (one per child) and bring it with you the day of the field trip.

Payment

Field Trip

A registration fee of $50 is required to reserve a field trip date.

  1. Choose “Registration fee” and add it to your cart

  2. Choose “Per Person Fee” from the drop down menu and add the quantity of attendees (adults and children ages 3 and up).

  3. If you’re also purchasing the bee experience, choose “bee experience add on” from the drop down menu and add the quantity of attendees (adults and children ages 3 and up).
