Our Story
How it Started
In 2015, we started with a blank canvas of two beautiful acres and a farmhouse in need of renovation. We only had four volunteers, but plenty of hopes and dreams for creating the legacy of our founder, Abby Sayler.
Abby had a vision of developing an organic community farm to educate individuals and families to grow their own food and develop a sustainable lifestyle. Abby's research and experience in health consulting proved that true health begins with what we eat. With quality food in mind, the closer we can live "farm to table," the healthier the results.
Our emphasis is on raised-bed gardening, whereby people will be educated and given the opportunity to grow their own food in their own raised-bed at the farm or at their home. We also have several exhibits for growing with hydroponics, row farming, etc.
Future Plans
We are always adding and improving at the farm! Our future plans include expansion of some of our current projects, as well as taking on some exciting new adventures, such as:
Expansion of our blueberry project, including the addition of a blackberry growing area
Fish Farm
Rain collection project
Abby’s dream and vision for the future is dependent on our community sharing our vision and supporting us financially.
